Kerala Government has on 5 March 2013 decided to reduce the Leave Surrender of Kerala Teachers from 24 days to 8 days.
As per this about 1.5 lakh teachers who have taken receipt of Leave Surender for this period should deposit back this amount.
As per new rule all teachers will be eligible for only 8 days leave surrender, irrespective of the number of days they worked.
