The 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup will be hosted by Brazil in June.

This time in 2013 , the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 will be having more importance than the previous Confederations Cups.
In 2014 Brazil is hosting the 20th FIFA World Cup.
Football teams from 8 countries will participate in Confederations Cup and there will be Five venues where the matches will be conducted.
Brazil and Spain are already qualified to participate in the 2014 World cup. Brazil is the host country of approaching world cup and so they get immediate qualification.
Spain are the champions of World cup 2010 which makes them also qualified.
Remaining six teams to participate in the FIFA Confederations Cup will be selected from the winners of following tournaments like,
FIFA Confederations Cup was earlier known as Confederations Winners Cup till 1992. Till then it was conducted by Saudi Arabia.
